World's Smallest Camera

world's smallest camera.??

This camera from the retailer Hammacher Schlemmer new, slightly larger than cubic inches (1.125 inches 1 inch by 1.063 inch) and weighs half an ounce.
The company claims this is the world's smallest digital camera.

Being so incredibly small it may be easy to lose, despite a wrist lanyard included.
It's small enough to be a choking hazard to young children and pets. .

That's a real camera though. It takes 1600 x1, 200 JPEG stills and 640x480 30-frames-per-second AVI video, which stores the microSD card.
It comes with a 2GB card.
It also includes a USB cable so you can view pictures and videos on Windows computers. Camera battery lasted 30 minutes and costs within an hour via USB cable.

Each claims to have the smallest thing in the world should be taken with a grain of salt.
This claim is close, though.
The Chobi Mini Digital Camera can also make a convincing case for the smallest cameras.
Measuring 1.7 inches by 1.1 inches by less than half an inch, Mini Chobi smaller in volume than the camera Hammacher Schlemmer.
But Hammacher Schlemmer form nearly cubic camera gives a psychological advantage.
It seems smaller.

In practical terms, if I were to spring for one of these cameras so small I would lean towards Chobi Mini. Rectangular shape makes it easier to hold, and Mini Chobi require higher resolution stills and video.

This camera was labeled price $ 99.95
